I'm helping these two wonderful bands find a venue up in Amarillo. I'm not sure if they'll be playing at The 806 yet, or somewhere else – that's my road trip project for tomorrow.

Mostly I got bored and wanted to make a gig poster that they possibly won't need or want, and probably has the wrong info to boot. I think it's Whompy's tour featuring Alex, and not the other way around. -thumbsup-

The MySpace info on the poster is valid, so please check them out, and if you're in the area, keep an eye out for updated show info. This is the first time any wizard rock band has played in the Texas Panhandle region (to my knowledge), and I'd love to see these guys have a great turnout.

Nicely done ^_^ Love the composition and the design itself. Wonderful colors you chose not clashing at all. The text is easy to read, and not over flowing, or the turning to much on the typing. The centering of everything is a very comforting composition to the eye. Where I am interning at for graphic design we use the central alignment for nearly EVERYTHING! Kind of annoying, but its what the boss likes ^^;

Lol im a graphic design major if your wondering Lol ^^; So yea I give stuff like this in depth information :p

lol, it's okay, I remember you. ^^ I'm always happy to hear something a little more substantial than "yay so pretty!" I kind of miss critiques, brutal as they were.

I understand what you mean by centered type, too. It's incredibly annoying after a while, especially when every other alignment looks great in comparison. But sometimes... it just happens. :P

I think centered type has been driving me crazy cause the place I am interning at, the boss likes nothing but CENTERED text and pretty much the whole composition of the graphic design advertisement CENTERED BAH! ^^; Drives me up the wall!! It gets boring and repetitive!!
